A construction worker has been charged after he allegedly killed a dog and burned it in Bulacan. According to Col. Franklin Estoro, acting Bulacan police director, the incident was discovered by a concerned citizen, alias Avelina, who smelled a foul odor in his house in Barangay Lias, Marilao last Friday.
When Avelina went out to check, she saw a construction worker alias Bryan burning the dog with wood. Avelina and Bryan are neighbors on Gaspar Street.
Avelina reviewed the footage from her CCTV and saw the suspect beating the dog with a stick until it died. She immediately reported the incident to the barangay peacekeeping action team, who brought Bryan to the Marilao Police Station.
