
Twelve Chinese nationals were arrested by the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) after they raided three houses in Ayala Alabang, Muntinlupa.
The raid began from 10 p.m. Monday to 6 a.m. the next day. It was carried out based on a search warrant issued by Judge Liezel Aquitan of the Muntinlupa Regional Trial Court.
At 213 Mango Street, 5 guns were seized, two of which had erased serial numbers, along with ammunition and gun accessories.
At 100 Dayap Street, 4 guns were seized, one of which was recovered from a Cadillac Escalade, along with a bulletproof vest. Another gun was found in a Toyota Grandia Elite.
At 102 Dayap Street, a gun and tactical knife were confiscated.
In addition, 4 vehicles were confiscated because no documents were presented.
The Filipino drivers working for the Chinese were taken for investigation but were also released in the custody of their lawyer.
Cases for violation of the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act will be filed against those arrested.
