Alden Richards and Julia Barretto will team up for the first time for the Philippine adaptation of Thai horror-comedy romance movie ‘Pee Mak’, originally starring Mario Maurer.
‘Pee Mak’ is the highest-grossing Thai movie of all time, so it is expected to be a big project in the Philippines.
According to PEP.ph, the Philippine adaptation will be produced under Viva Films and Myriad Entertainment, a multimedia company owned by Alden Richards.
The first film from Myriad Entertainment, ‘OOO (Out of Order)’, will soon be available on Netflix. It stars Alden Richards and Heaven Peralejo.
The contract signing for the project took place last night between Vic del Rosario of Viva Group of Companies and Alden Richards of Myriad Entertainment.
