A call center agent died after being the victim of a hit-and-run in Bgy. Bagbag, Novaliches, Quezon City this early Tuesday.
Relatives identified the victim as Den John Viaje, 29-year-old, a resident of the area.
According to Quezon City Police District (QCPD) Station 4, around 2 a.m., the victim was caught on CCTV while crossing Quirino Highway near Pagkabuhay Road.
He was suddenly hit by a white vehicle heading in the direction of Mindanao Avenue.
The victim was in the pedestrian lane when the incident occurred, but the vehicle did not stop and fled.
The victim was taken to the hospital but later passed away.
In a message, his brother Kris Viaje called on anyone with information about the plate number or the identity of the driver to contact them or the police.
Meanwhile, the QCPD assured that they are continuing to investigate the case and are using backtracking to find the culprit.
