A man suffered first degree burns after a fire broke out in two rental houses on Ibanez Street, Barangay Little Baguio, San Juan City on March 20, 2025.
According to the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), they received a call about the fire at around 7:05 a.m. It was raised to first alarm at 7:11 a.m. and declared fire out at 8:36 a.m.
According to Fire Inspector Mark Anthony Tabangcura, the houses were made of cement and wood and were cramped inside, so the fire spread quickly.
The incident is believed to have been caused by an electrical fire after someone saw smoke coming from the ceiling.
