After 9 months on the International Space Station (ISS), Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams are returning to Earth.
Their mission was supposed to last only 8 days, but it was delayed due to problems with their Starliner spacecraft.
Now, they are returning aboard a SpaceX capsule with fellow astronauts Nick Hague and Aleksandr Gorbunov.
They are expected to land in Florida today, but could be delayed if the weather is bad.
The return will be difficult due to heat reaching 1600°C and 4x gravity before the 4 parachutes open for a safe landing.
During their long stay, they performed numerous experiments and spacewalks, during which Suni broke the record for most time spent outside the ISS by a woman.
Although called "stranded," there is always a emergency spacecraft waiting in case of need.
When they return home, they will undergo a medical check-up due to possible bone loss, muscle loss, and changes in blood circulation.
