
PAGCOR has allocated P300 million for the improvement of facilities and training of cadets of the Philippine National Police Academy (PNPA).
At the 45th PNPA Alumni Homecoming in Silang, Cavite, PAGCOR Chairperson Alejandro Tengco emphasized the importance of modern technology and facilities to more effectively combat crime.
According to Tengco, the funds will be used for:
- Construction of PNPA Alumni Association Building
- Upgrading the Crime Scene Plaza for forensic training
- Using firearms training simulators
- Acquiring crime mapping and cybercrime investigation software
- In addition, PAGCOR also provided P2.2 million for a service vehicle and 100 tablets for the cadets to use in their studies.
Bukod dito, nagbigay rin ang PAGCOR ng P2.2 milyon para sa isang service vehicle at 100 tablets na magagamit ng mga kadete sa kanilang pag-aaral.
Usec. Gilbert Cruz of the Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Commission thanked PAGCOR for its great assistance in the development of PNPA.
