Three Filipinos who fell victim to a scam farm in Cambodia have safely returned to the Philippines. According to the NBI, the victims were offered jobs as Customer Service Representative but upon arriving in Cambodia, they were forced to work defrauding foreigners.
Not wanting to be part of the illegal activity, they tried to escape and move to another company. Unfortunately, they were tracked down by 15 Chinese who allegedly beat them up as punishment.

After the incident, authorities coordinated to rescue the victims and bring them back safely to the country. Currently, the NBI continues to investigate the incident to bring justice to the Filipino victims and catch those behind this scam farm.
This incident is a reminder to be cautious of job offers, especially those that require traveling abroad.
