A female police officer who is a member of the Special Action Force (SAF) was taken to the hospital after allegedly being hit with a cellphoneby former first lady Honeylet Avanceña, the partner of former president Rodrigo Duterte.
The incident occurred on Tuesday, March 11, at Villamor Airbase in Pasay City. Reports said there was tension between Avanceña and the female police officer before the incident. It is not yet clear what led to their altercation, but it resulted in the injury of the SAF member.
The female police officer was immediately rushed to the hospital for treatment. Authorities are continuing to investigate the incident to clarify the full details.
