With less than two months to go before the official release, Disney Studios has finally released the full official trailer for the Lilo & Stitch live-action movie. For the first time, it also shows off the look of the live-action Lilo, as well as Mr. Bubbles and other characters.
The film was directed by Dean Fleischer Camp, the director of Marcel the Shell with Shoes On, and produced by Dan Lin and Jonathan Eirich, who both worked on the live-action Aladdin. The first version of the script was written by Mike Van Waes, while the final version was written by Chris Kekaniokalani Bright. It is scheduled to be released on May 23 in North America, while in Taiwan on May 22.
The film's cast includes Maia Kealoha as Lilo, Hannah Waddingham as the Grand Councilwoman, Billy Magnussen as Pleakley, Zach Galifianakis as Dr. Jumba, and Courtney B. Vance as Mr. Bubbles. Stitch will once again be voiced by Chris Sanders, who also directed the original animated film. Meanwhile, Jason Scott Lee, who voiced David in the original film, will return for a special cameo.
