Three passengers died and 20 were injured after a van from Baguio City lost its brakes and crashed into a rock barrier in Sitio Bantiway, Barangay Poblacion yesterday.
According to Dr. Angeline Calatan, rural health physician of Tuba, Justine Nichole Bungay, Homer Lozano, and Arlene Nanquil.
20 other passengers, including a two-year-old child, were taken to the hospital for treatment.
According to Maj. James Acod, chief of Tuba police, the driver of the van, Berlin Sagad Lopez, 66, is currently being investigatedand may face charges.
Of the injured, 14 have been discharged from the hospital after receiving treatment, while those with more serious injuries remain at the Baguio General Hospital and Medical Center.
