A woman in Nagasaki, Japanwas arrested after allegedly leaving her partner naked on a balconyall night, leading to his death from the cold.
According to police, the 54-year-old woman was charged with assault and lethal confinement after the incident in February 2022.

The woman allegedly forced her 49-year-old common-law husband to go out on the balcony naked and locked him there. The next morning, he was found inside the house near death and later died of hypothermia.
According to a report by the Mainichi Daily, the temperature reached 3.7°C that night.
The woman had previously stabbed the victim with a knife, causing a wound to her nose that took two weeks to heal.
The woman denied the allegations and told police, "I didn't do anything."
Authorities have not yet clarified why he was only now formally charged.
