A community cat in Ayala Triangle Gardens, Makati City tragically died after being kicked by a Chinese man, according to CARA Welfare Philippines.
According to their Facebook post on Thursday, the man was captured on CCTV mercilessly kicking the weak and defenseless cat.The poor animal had no idea that a cruel incident was about to happen while it was resting peacefully.
After the incident, the man was confronted and taken to the barangay.But instead of repenting, he showed arrogance and refused to give his address.He even told the authorities that they should contact the Chinese Embassy.
Because of this, he is still roaming freely on the streets and in Ayala Triangle Gardens,which has pet lovers and animal welfare advocates worried. Many are calling for justice for the poor cat and hoping that the culprit will be held accountable.
