Two weeks before his wedding, 1st Lieutenant April John “AJ” Dadulla, 29, died after their FA-50 fighter jet at Mount Kalatungan, Bukidnon, early morning of March 4.
Dadulla, from Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon, is excited about his marriage to 1st Lieutenant Alyssa Coleen Columbino. He even reserved a house in Cagayan de Oro, a sign of preparation for their married life.
During the operation, lost contact with Major Jude Salang-oy's jet, until it crashed in the thick part of mountain Soldiers and volunteers had to travel to find the remains of the pilots.
After the accident, Columbino shared his pain on Facebook: "I am so proud of you, my love. You will always be in my heart. Till we meet again."
From his prenup shoot in Zambales to his final mission, Dadulla's dream of a happy life with his fiancée—a dream that will never come true.
