According to the report of the authorities, personnel of the Philippine National Police (PNP) and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency conducted an operation (PDEA) after receiving information about the illegal activities of the said police.
In the middle of the operation, the police were caught transacting with a poseur buyer. Suspected shabu, marked money, and other evidence were recovered from him.
According to Pasay City Police Chief, they are surprised that they have a colleague involved in illegal activities. It is said that they will ensure that justice is achieved and the arrested policeman will be held accountable to the law.
The suspect will face charges of violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 and possible administrative charges, which could lead to upon his dismissal from service.
The investigation continues and the PNP reminded that no one, even members of their ranks, is safe from the law when involved in illegal drugs.
