A closed van and a motorcycle overturned on Quezon Avenue, Quezon City around 4 AM this Tuesday, March 5. Due to the accident, there was heavy traffic in the area.
According to the injured motorist, they did not notice the hanging cable on the road, so they lost control of their vehicle. As a result, the motorcycle overturned along with the van. It is not yet known where the said cable came from.
Due to the force of the impact, the motorist sustained injuries. Meanwhile, it is still being ascertained if anyone else was hurt in the incident. Authorities immediately responded to take care of the situation and remove the vehicles from the road.
There was a diesel leak from the van, so authorities issued a warning to motorists to be careful when driving through the area. Several lanes of the road were temporarily closed to prevent further accidents.
