401 foreign workers were arrested in an alleged POGO scam hub located in a 10-story building near Macapagal Boulevard, Pasay City this Wednesday.
The local government of Pasay, along with the PNP-CIDG, DOJ Office of Cybercrime, and PAOCC, led the raid after receiving a report that POGO was still operating in the building.
"According to the intelligence report, there is a POGO operation here. Last year, we closed something on the 6th and 8th floor," said Atty. Patrick Legaspi, head of the Pasay Business Permits and Licensing Office (BPLO).
BPLO added, the company using the 6th to 10th floors does not have a business permit or license from the local government. Because of this, the Pasay LGU issued a Mission Order to enter the said area.
