Authorities seized shabu with an estimated value of P44.4 million in an anti-narcotics operation in Panabo City, Davao del Norte yesterday.
Two suspected drug suspects, who were not immediately named, were arrested after a buy-bust operation was conducted at Oakwood Residences, Barangay New Visayas, according to Brig. Gen. Leon Victor Rosete, chief of police in the Davao region.
According to the police, six large plastic bags and eight sachets of shabu, as well as marked money, were confiscated from the suspects.

Meanwhile, in Luzon, shabu worth P238,000 was seized from three drug suspects in Cainta, Rizal 400;">.
In addition to illegal drugs, marked money, cellphones, and drug paraphernalia were also confiscated from them.

P7 Million worth of Marijuana Destroyed in Kalinga
In Kalinga, authorities destroyed P7 million worth of marijuana after a raid in Rizal town on Friday.
According to the Philippine National Police-Drug Enforcement Group (PDEG), about 35,000 marijuana plants were found in a farm near the border of Isabela province.
