Mazda announced the debut of the MAZDA6e, its latest all-electric sedan, at the Brussels Motor Show 2025. Targeted for European customers, the MAZDA6e is set to hit showrooms this summer, combining Mazda's and innovative EV technology.
Based on the MAZDA EZ-6, which was first shown in Beijing last year, the MAZDA6e is designed to provide options as Europe gradually electrifies. Its development involved Chongqing Changan Automobile Co., Ltd., a partner company of Mazda for 20 years. The sedan offers a combination of design, driving performance, and smart functionality.
The MAZDA6e has a sleek coupe-inspired style, measuring 193.7 inches in length, 74.4 inches in width, and 58.7 inches in height, with a wheelbase of 114 inches. Its minimalist design matches the modern aesthetics of an EV, while ensuring a dynamic and engaging driving experience. There are two battery capacities, 80 kWh and 68.8 kWh, offering a range of up to 343 miles and 298 miles, respectively.
Inside the cabin, drivers will find advanced smart technologies, including voice, touch, and gesture controls, as well as intelligent driver-assistance systems aimed at improving safety and comfort. The vehicle's braking and handling system has been refined for precision, promoting Mazda's philosophy of creating a harmonious connection between the vehicle and the driver.
There are no pricing details for the European market at the time of writing.
