The Miss Universe organization recognized four continental queens from the 125 participants in this year's edition held in Mexico. Like one of the duties of the reigning Miss Universe, the continental queens will serve as ambassadors for their respective continents.
Chelsea was chosen as the continental queen for Asia. She is joined by Matilda Wirtavuori from Finland as the continental queen for Europe and the Middle East, Tatiana Calmell from Peru for the Americas, and Chidimma Adetshina from Nigeria for Africa and Oceania. Chidimma is also the first runner-up of the newly crowned Miss Universe, Victoria Kjær Theilvig from Denmark. In the event that Victoria is unable to fulfill her duties, Chidimma will step in as Miss Universe. Meanwhile, Tatiana became Chelsea's roommate during the competition.
The four continental queens were awarded their titles and sashes after Victoria's first press conference as Miss Universe, along with several officials from the organization.
Chelsea was still wearing the feathered Tiffany evening gown designed by fellow Bulakenyo Manny Halasan, which she wasn't able to fully showcase on stage as her journey ended in the Top 30.
After the continental queens were announced, the Miss Universe Organization revealed that the 2025 edition might be held in India, South Africa, Thailand, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Spain, Argentina, or Morocco.
Victoria, who celebrated her 21st birthday just a few days before the coronation night, is the first Miss Universe from Denmark and the first winner from Europe since French titleholder Iris Mittenaere was crowned in 2016.
