According to the latest PAGASA weather bulletin, Typhoon Marce's center is located 295 kilometers east of Aparri, Cagayan. It has maximum sustained winds of 150 kph, with gusts reaching up to 185 kph. The storm is moving closer, and authorities are urging residents in affected areas to remain alert and prepared.
Typhoon Marce is expected to make landfall in the Babuyan Islands or the northern parts of mainland Cagayan, Ilocos Norte, and Apayao by the morning of Friday, November 8. It is anticipated to exit the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) by evening. Marce may weaken as it interacts with the mountainous regions of mainland Luzon.
