Tropical Depression Kristine continues to strengthen as it moves west-southwest over the Philippine Sea. As of 10 a.m. on Monday, the depression was located 870 kilometers east of Eastern Visayas, with maximum sustained winds of 55 kph and gusts of up to 70 kph. Kristine is moving at 30 kph, with strong winds reaching up to 550 kilometers from its center.
