The Toll Regulatory Board (TRB) announced that there will be new toll rates for the NLEX Connector starting October 15, 2024.
According to the TRB, this adjustment is part of the plan to gradually implement toll charges on the NLEX Connector, with the aim of reducing the burden on motorists using the expressway.
Here's a breakdown of the new toll fees:
- Class 1 vehicles (regular cars and SUVs): P119
- Class 2 vehicles (buses and small trucks): P299
- Class 3 vehicles (large trucks): P418
These updated toll rates follow the initial fees implemented in 2023, after the opening of the Caloocan to España segment in March of the said year. When the España to Magsaysay Boulevard section was opened in October 2023, the TRB maintained the discounted rates, so motorists could use the extended road for almost a year without additional fees.
TRB also said that once the entire NLEX Connector Project is completed, full toll rates will be implemented.
