The body of an unidentified man was found on the edge of a canal in Barangay Cupang, Antipolo, early Wednesday morning. Authorities said a resident spotted the man's body with blood on his head at around 2:25 AM. Barangay personnel and police immediately arrived at the scene to conduct an investigation.
In CCTV footage from the barangay, four men can be seen walking in Purok 4. Soon, someone can be heard saying "please, I'm not guilty," followed by three gunshots. A few minutes later, only the three men walked away from the area.
Police are still investigating the incident, but barangay residents confirmed that the victim was not from the area.
