Three people were injured after a fire in a residential area in Makabayan Street, Barangay Obrero, Quezon City on Saturday night, April 12.
According to the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), the injured are Rene Santos, 16 (finger injury), Alfredo Villas, 28 (hand injury), and Edric Mamarang, 18 (hand injury).
The fire started at around 11:23 p.m. and reached 3rd alarm before being completely under control by firefighters at 2:50 a.m. and fully extinguished at 4:00 a.m.
Based on initial investigation, the fire allegedly started in a room on the 2nd floor of the house due to a candle left behind.
The value of the damaged goods and property in the fire is estimated at P250,000.
