A passenger, Valerie Del Castillo, said she woke up to a strong smell of burning plastic and smoke increased as the situation worsened. She noted that the crew provided wet wipes for the protection of passengers.
As of the time of this report, the plane is still being inspected and passengers are being waited for to disembark after fuel dump and temperature checks by the quarantine officer.
