42 foreign nationals were arrested in a Bureau of Immigration (BI) operation at a beach resort in Barangay Villa Norte, Alabat, Quezon on Wednesday morning.
The operation, which was conducted pursuant to Executive Order 287, Series of 2000, aimed at conducting verification and investigation of suspected illegal aliens, was carried out by personnel of the Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Commission and Calabarzon Police.
The arrested foreigners were brought to Camp BGen Vicente Lim in Calamba City for documentation and biometrics processing.
Currently, they are in the custody of the Bureau of Immigration while the investigation regarding their stay in the country continues.
