At Milan Design Week, Bang & Olufsen presented their new Beosound Balance Natura speaker, a luxury version of their popular Beosound Balance. This speaker is made from natural stone and is the result of a collaboration with the renowned Italian natural stone company Antolini. This limited-edition release reimagines home audio as a masterpiece of art, with a marble plinth as the centerpiece of the design.
The Natura model stands on a base carefully carved from materials from the Antolini's Exclusive and Precioustone Collections. These include Cristallo Iceberg, Cristallo Vitrum “Wow”, and petrified wood with earthy tones. Not only is it beautiful to look at, the base is also designed to improve acoustic performance, reducing vibrations and allowing sound to flow naturally throughout the space.
The speaker also features a anodized aluminum ring with precision-matching to the base, connecting raw materiality and refined technology. The combination of natural stone and modern technology serves as the perfect balance of art and technology, fitting into any modern home.
With only a limited and exclusive 16 units available, the Beosound Balance Natura is a custom-made speaker that is not just for audiophiles but for those looking for an art piece that comes with high-quality sound.
Bang & Olufsen and Antolini have pioneered a new class of luxury audio equipment, which is not only functional but also artistic in design. It is a great example of how tech and art can come together to provide a unique experience.
