After 41 years, Eduardo "Papa JT" Lubrin II from Quezon City discovered the true identity of his biological mother. He grew up believing that he was adopted by the family.
In 1993, his sister, who had passed away, asked him, “What if mama wasn’t your mama, would you be angry?” Eduardo replied, “No, I still love mama,” but he didn’t think about why she asked. Later, when he was 13, his older brother mentioned that he wasn’t his real brother. “He was drunk when he said, ‘Hey, I’m not your real brother but I’ll fight for you,’” he said. This is when Eduardo began to have doubts and thought that maybe he was adopted.
Despite his suspicions, he couldn't ask his mother because he couldn't bear to hurt her. When his father died in 2019, these questions came to his mind again, but he didn't force it.
One day, his mother and sister had a fight, and Eduardo heard a shocking revelation from his mother. His mother said angrily, “Okay Jet, you want to know what’s true? Your sister is your real mother!” At first, Eduardo accepted what his mother said, but thought it might be an angry statement.
It's true, Bakuz, his older sister, is his real mother. Despite knowing, their relationship with each other hasn't changed. Eduardo is happy that he doesn't come from a different family and still considers his real mother to be his mother. His mom is feeling better after all the secrets that have been revealed.
