A woman in Zamboanga del Norte is facing a complaint after she threw hot water on her neighbor's dogs. According to CCTV footage, the woman can be seen pouring hot water on the dog kennel, then quickly leaving as if nothing had happened.
After the incident, the dogs were heard crying and smoke could be seen coming from the enclosure, as captured on CCTV. It was learned that two dogs and a puppy suffered burns to their bodies as a result of the woman's actions.
The dog owners' relatives said that the woman was annoyed by the animals' noise, so she decided to throw hot water on them. According to the Animal Health and Welfare Division of the Department of Agriculture, what the woman did was a violation of the Animal Welfare Act.
If proven, the woman could be jailed and fined for cruelty to animals.
