The latest search for missing Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 has been called off again, Kuala Lumpur's transport minister said. It has been more than a decade since the plane disappeared.
Search Changes
Transport Minister Anthony Loke said the search operation has been suspended and that they plan to resume by the end of the year. The Boeing 777 with 239 passengers on board went missing on March 8, 2014, while en route from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing.
Searching the Indian Ocean
Despite the largest search in aviation history, the plane has still not been found. Previous attempts have covered vast swaths of the Indian Ocean, but have not found a single piece other than some debris.
Theories About the Missing Flight
There are many theories about the disappearance of MH370, from the plausible to the unbelievable. This includes the suspicion that the pilot, Zaharie Ahmad Shah, took unexpected action.
Continuing Search for Victims' Families
As the families of the victims continue to seek answers from Malaysian authorities, relatives of the passengers, including Chinese nationals, have also held gatherings to express their anguish and ask when this wait will end.
