A fierce fight between two drivers was caught on video on C.M. Recto Street, Davao City, near San Pedro Cathedral, this Sunday afternoon.
In a video taken by a resident, a driver can be seen hitting his fellow driver in the middle of the road, who also refused to stop and fought back.
The clash caused chaos in the area and people had a hard time separating them. In the end, the two were separated.
According to the initial investigation by the Davao City police, the fight started due to a dispute over a passenger, based on the story of a sidewalk vendor.
The brother of the operator of one of the jeepneys also went to the police to have a blotter taken of the incident. According to him, their driver sustained a wound to the chest.
Police are continuing to investigate the identity of another driver involved in the incident.
