Two men were arrested by the Carcar Police Station after they were identified as the main suspects in the murder of a 39-year-old woman in Sitio Luan-luan, Brgy. Poblacion, Carcar City on Thursday, March 27, 2025.
The victim was identified as Yesha Enad Sato, a resident of Barangay Poblacion. According to the investigation, she was shot to death.
The suspects were identified as Alberto Aguilar Diez, 39, who is the alleged gunman, and Aljune Sosona Serenio, 35, who may have had something to do with the incident.
According to police, the incident may have been related to the victim's unpaid debt. Investigations are still ongoing to identify other possible perpetrators.
