In a Facebook post on March 26, 2025, Angillyn Gorens shared her experience of physical, emotional, and verbal abuse from her former partner, Buboy Villar. She also vehemently denied the issue that she left Buboy due to poverty. According to Angillyn, she stayed in the relationship for a long time despite the hardships, but she decided to stay away for the sake of their children.
According to Angillyn, Buboy hit her several times despite minor arguments. She also revealed that he often came home drunk and became violent towards her, even in front of their child. She also shared an incident where Buboy choked her while she was breastfeeding their daughter.
Angillyn clarified that poverty was not the reason for their separation. According to her, even when she was not able to eat properly and relied on her family's help, she stayed in the relationship because of her love for Buboy. However, she realized that it was no longer a good environment for their family, so she chose to walk away.
They have two children, Vlanz Karollyn (7 years old) and George Michael (5 years old). According to Angillyn, she left Buboy when she was pregnant with George to protect their children from possible trauma caused by their father's violent behavior. She believes this would be better for the future of their family.
Angillyn also expressed her disappointment over the negative comments from the public. Some are calling them “bad parents” for their separation, but according to her, this decision was for the good of their children. As of now, Buboy Villar has not issued a statement regarding these accusations.
