A newborn baby's body was found in a bag outside All Saints Church in Notting Hill, London.
The Metropolitan Police said they received a call at around 12:46 PM on Tuesday about the incident in Powis Gardens. London Ambulance Service responded immediately, but the baby was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police are continuing their investigation to find the baby's mother. The baby's gender and exact age are not yet certain.

According to Supt. Owen Renowden, this is a sad and shocking incident. He also said that police's priority is to find the mother because she may have just given birth and is in need of immediate medical assistance and support.
If you are the baby's mother, you are encouraged to reach out to police or medical professionals. "We know you are scared, but we want to help you," Renowden added.
