Some German tourists climbed the Castillo Pyramid in Mexico, even though it was forbidden. The locals saw them and got angry because they thought the tourists desecrated the ancient site and the gods. The people were furious and chased them away—some even said they should be sacrificed!
They were also caught by security. It is strictly forbidden to climb the pyramid because it is dangerous and the site could be damaged. Since 2008, it has been banned after someone fell. But there are still many who refuse, and some even danced at the top!
