A 30-year-old Swiss female diver was rescued by the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) after she experienced difficulty breathing following a series of diving activities in Occidental Mindoro this weekend.
PCG Responds Immediately
In an official statement, the PCG sub-station in Sablayan said they immediately conducted medical evacuation procedures after receiving an emergency request from Nicole Obias, daughter of the owner of the boat used in the diving.
Due to the diver's deteriorating condition, he was quickly picked up by the PCG using their rescue vessel and taken to the nearest district hospital for immediate examination and treatment.
