Omar Baliw, a hiphop artist and songwriter, filed a formal complaint against Apollo Quiboloy of the KOJC at the Pasig Hall of Justice this March 24, 2025.
Omar said Quiboloy's camp used his song 'K&B' at a rally without permission. He was accompanied by his lawyer in filing the lawsuit.
According to him, they first sent a demand letter but no action was taken so they decided to sue. There was also a virtual meeting between the two camps but he did not receive a response from the senatorial aspirant.
Omar also posted the incident on social media and said, “I just want to correct the things that are wrong,” to inform the public about the unauthorized use of his song.
