American boxing legend GEORGE FOREMAN passed away on Friday, March 21, 2025. He was 76. The family confirmed this on Instagram.
This Saturday, March 22, a photo of the entire family appeared on George's feed with a caption describing him as a good husband, loving father and grandfather, and Godly.
According to the caption:
"We are heartbroken. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved George Edward Foreman Sr. who passed away peacefully on March 21, 2025, surrounded by his loved ones.
A religious man, devoted husband, loving father and grandfather, he lived a life of steadfast faith and humility.
As a philanthropist, Olympian, and two-time heavyweight champion of the world, he was respected by many—a good man of discipline and determination.
Thank you for all the love and prayers. We ask for privacy as we remember the unique life of our loved one."
