After the Senate hearing regarding the possible arrest of former President Rodrigo Duterte, his daughter, Vice President Sara Duterte, called for to move on from the issue and to focus on bringing her father home.
In his statement, VP Duterte insisted that it is more important to discuss now how to help the former president return to the Philippines, instead of continuing the controversy.
Meanwhile, the situation is still being monitored in The Hague, The Netherlands, where legal proceedings are ongoing. Several Duterte supporters have expressed their concern about the possible outcome of the case.
