Vice President Sara Duterte said on Thursday that she is continuing to study ways to bring her father and former President Rodrigo Duterte back to the Philippines after he was transferred to the International Criminal Court (ICC).
In a virtual press conference, he mentioned that they are looking at steps to expedite the process. However, he admitted that their options are limited and any legal action they take could take a long time.
It is not yet clear what exact methods his camp may use to bring the former president home, but VP Duterte assured that he will do everything he can to find a solution to the situation.
Meanwhile, the public and supporters of ex-Pres. Duterte continue to monitor the next steps of his family and the government regarding his case at the ICC.
