You can now buy, hold, and transact USDC stablecoin with GCash.
According to GCash, USDC is a type of cryptocurrency with a 1:1 value to US dollars and is backed by cash and cash-equivalent assets for more stable value.
To get USDC, simply go to GCrypto in the GCash app, select 'USDC', and complete the conversion using your GCash balance.
GCash also pointed out that USDC reserves are held by regulated financial institutions and have third-party monthly audits for greater transparency.
