A 39-year-old nursing aide died after being run over by a tank truck at South Road Properties (SRP) in Brgy. Mambaling, Cebu City on March 19 night.
The victim was identified as Robeliz Oyao, a nursing aide at a hospital in Cebu City. She was riding on the back of a motorcycle driven by her live-in partner, Glenn Dela Rosa Ochea, 45.
While returning home to their home in Brgy. Agus Proper, Lapu-Lapu City, a truck driven by Damelito Loro Casas, 50, from Brgy. Bongoyan, Borbon suddenly swerved to the right of their motorcycle. The truck hit the left side of the motorcycle, causing the two to be thrown off.
Unfortunately, Oyao was run over by the right rear tire of the truck, killing him instantly.
