The dismembered body parts of an unidentified person were found along Marilaque Highway, part of Barangay Laurel, Santa Maria, Laguna on Tuesday.
According to a report by the Santa Maria Police, the incident was reported at around 12:30 p.m. by a member of the crime watch force.
A rider first discovered a severed leg dumped on the side of the highway after noticing a foul odor in the area.
When the police arrived, they found another body part, suspected to be a leg, 100 meters away from the first part.
The search for other possible missing body parts is continuing.
