A West Virginia college student, Dylan Bish, 19, was arrested after he allegedly scared and threatened his neighbor in Pennsylvania, authorities said. Bish allegedly identified himself as a serial killer and attempted to threaten the victim through letters and text messages.
The incident began in November 2024 when the victim found a handwritten note on her apartment door with her name and a phone number. In February 2025, another note appeared with gruesome and sexual fantasies, including a threat to use a chainsaw to dismember the victim's body. On March 10, Bish sent a text message to police admitting that he had killed 20 women and that the victim was his next target.
During the investigation, Bish admitted that he was obsessed with the victim and would not stop until she was dead. The police were even more concerned when they learned that Bish was studying Criminal Justice and Forensic Science at Salem University to learn how the police and FBI work so that he wouldn't get caught.
