Lynx Motors has unveiled its new high-performance vehicle — the GT1 'Eau Rouge', a heavily modified Ford GT that combines advanced engineering and endurance racing heritage.
At the heart of the Eau Rouge is a 7L Roush Yates RY45 V8 engine with Garrett G35 twin turbos, titanium mid-pipes, and Del West forged titanium valves. Its power is sent through a Sadev SL 90 six-speed sequential gearbox for quick and efficient gear shifts.
For solid braking, includes a Bosch Motorsport ABS system, AP Racing calipers, and Tilton pedals 400;">.
It's built from an OEM 2005 Ford GT chassis that's been reinforced with a custom chromoly roll cage. The carbon-fiber body sourced from the 2010 Matech Le Mans team gives it a bolder look.
For aerodynamics, it has dive planes, fender venting, front splitter, and rear diffuser for better stability at high speeds.
Inside, there are Tillet carbon-fiber seats wrapped in leather, OMP six-point harness, and modern electronics like Haltech ECU management and dual Aim 10-inch screens. It also has a Formula 1-style steering wheel for a racing experience.
The Eau Rouge has Forgeline wheels with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup2R AMG1 tires for extreme road grip. JRI dampers with front axle lift system are also installed to keep the vehicle under control even under pressure.
The price of the GT1 'Eau Rouge' is estimated at $1,700,000 USD, and comes with custom options such as of customer-specified livery and paint-to-sample tinted clear coats available.
