HONOR Philippines has launched a new midrange phone that focuses more on style than durability.
The new X8c has a flat screen that resembles the iPhone design, instead of the curved display of other HONOR models.
According to HONOR, the X8c is just as durable as their X9c series released earlier this year. It has an IP64 rating for protection against water and dust, as well as drops.
The X8chastwocameras on the back: a 108MP main camera and a 5MP ultrawide camera. It also has Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) for clearer night shots and various focal options for unique portrait styles. It can also record 1080p video with up to 8x digital zoom.
On the front, there is a 50MP front camera for clear selfies. It also includes features AI wide-angle selfies and AI Eraser for photo editing.
According to Stephen Cheng, Vice President for Marketingof HONOR Philippines, “With its powerful camera system, smart features, and durable build, we are excited to bring this phone to Filipinos who love to connect, create, and share precious moments.”
Some other important specs of the X8c is the 5000mAh battery with 35W charging, and a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, FHD+ (2412 x 1080) resolution, and 2800 nits brightness.
It uses a Snapdragon 685 processor and has various memory and storage options from 6GB+128GB to 8GB+512GB.
It comes in three color options: Midnight Black, Moonlight White, and a unique color called Marrs Green.
Its price starts at P13,999 with freebies, according to HONOR.
