Honda announces the CRF450RX Rally, a factory-spec Dakar race bike available only in Europe by RedMoto. This is only 50 units, and price is by request only. It is almost the same as that used by Tosha Schareina in the 2025 Dakar Rally, where he finished in 2nd place. Adrien Van Beveren and Ricky Brabec also used the same bike to get 3rd and 4th place.
Has 57.2 bhp power and 100mph top speed, thanks to the revised six-speed gearbox with longer gear ratios. Its cooling system is also upgraded with an oil cooler and enlarged radiator. The exhaust system features an Akrapovic titanium silencer and steel downpipe, positioned under the frame cradle for more robust performance.
For the fuel system, there are three tanks with a total of 36 liters (14L in the rear and 11L each in the twin front tanks). The rider has the ability to control which tank is used first using the bar-mounted switchgear. In the suspension, there are Showa forks (310mm travel) at the front and Showa shock absorber (315mm travel) at the back, both with titanium coating for smoother handling.
This bike is a solid investment because of Haan CNC-machined hubs, Takasago Excel rims, and cush drive in the rear to reduce drivetrain wear. Its braking system is also reinforced with 300mm front and 240mm rear brake discs. It also has a carbon fiber sump guard with a built-in tool compartment for added protection.
For rider comfort and navigation, it uses Renthal handlebars, Acerbis full-wrap handguards, oversized footpegs, and full LED lighting system. It also has a carbon tower setup with a detachable subframe for easier maintenance. In addition, it also uses the XTRIG steering damper and high-performance frame components jointly developed by XTRIG and Honda.
