There is news from Canada—there was a shooting at a bar in Scarborough, Toronto on Friday night. According to Toronto Police, they received a report around 10 PM of a shooting near downtown.
After the incident, the suspect quickly fled in a silver vehicle. To date, he has not been caught and the search for him continues.
According to medics, there were 12 wounded—ranging from minor injuries to serious conditions.
Mayor Olivia Chow also issued a statement on social media. She said she was saddened by what happened and was in contact with the police. “My heart goes out to the victims and their families,” she added.
