Volkswagen has expanded its electric vehicle lineup with the ID. EVERY1 concept, an affordable EV for the European market. It is expected to be released in 2027 with a starting price of €20,000 EUR (₱1,219,360 PHP) to make electric mobility more accessible.
It is part of Volkswagen's “Electric Urban Car Family”, along with the ID. 2all, which will be launched in 2026 with a price tag of less than PHP 1,251,504. Both use the modular electric drive (MEB) platform with front-wheel drive for better performance and a more spacious interior. The ID. EVERY1 is 3,880 mm long, which is larger than the up! city car but smaller than the Polo. It has a 4-seater capacity and 305-liter luggage space.
Powered by a 70 kW (93 hp) electric motor, it can reach 80 mph and has an estimated 155-mile range. It also has an advanced software architecture that allows for over-the-air updates to keep its technology up-to-date.
According to Volkswagen CEO Thomas Schäfer, the ID. EVERY1 is the “final piece of the puzzle” in their plan to provide a variety of EV models that suit the needs of each customer. They aim to become the world's largest volume manufacturer when it comes to EV technology by 2030.
